Resources

This page contains a variety of resources that our group has developed, as well as links to websites. We hope these will be useful for researchers working on compound semiconductors, solar cells, hydrogen generation, and/or alternative energy sources. Feel free to use anything on this page. We just ask that you give proper citation to our website when doing so.Bandgap vs. Lattice Constant for III-V and II-VI Compound Semiconductors

**AKA the “Crystal Grower’s Chart” (data available in Excel format, just contact us.)

Connecting lines represent ternary compositions between constituent binary alloys. Line colors represent which conduction band valley is lowest in energy (Γ-valley is the “direct” band gap, X- and L- valleys are “indirect” band gaps.) Dashed lines indicate estimated compositions based on a linear trend (no experimental data available).
