Graduate Students

 Camron Noorzad

CamronCamron is currently a Master’s student in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on physical devices at UC Davis. He continued with his studies at Davis directly after receiving his B.S. in Electronic Materials Engineering. With his unique undergraduate background, he offers a nice balance of materials science and electrical engineering knowledge. He decided to pursue his Master’s degree to get more hands-on experience with semiconductor technology and processing provided by Woodall’s research group. His interests include working on transistors, diodes, LEDs, and solar cells. In other words, he’s happy as long as he’s working on some electrical device or component and has an excuse to get into the fab. In his free time he enjoys football and video games. His current research is on improving the efficiency of Zn-diffused AlGaAs solar cells grown from Liquid Phase Epitaxy (LPE). He takes great pride in everything he does and is grateful for having the opportunity to be a part of the Woodall team. He aims to contribute in his fullest ability.
